Meet the Participant

This is Isaac Cumming of Wynyard. Isaac has worked with Max Employment for the last two years. He has been working with Live Well Tasmania on our Community Centre project under the supervision of Glenn Venner. Isaac has been doing numerous jobs at the centre and has been enjoying his interactions with other participants.

“People here are much friendlier than other places I’ve worked at with more co-operation. I really like that it’s very convenient and close to home because transport is a real problem. I would really like to work in the creative arts industry, especially in photography. I did a course when I was at school and really liked it but I need to get the right equipment. I also like architecture because I like drawing buildings and plans. It’s a problem for me to do a course because I can’t get to TAFE in Devonport due to no transport”.

Isaac spoke of his desire to do face to face learning and having a motivational mentor to help him with his learning needs.  In the mean time he is acquiring some new skills working at Live Well Tasmania.  We look forward to hearing of Isaac’s future progress as it unfolds.
