A huge thank you to the wonderful people who came to our Social Activation Project Meeting at the Live Well Tasmania Community Centre last night! It was a very creative, innovative and inspiring group of people who came together with a passion for improving our great part of North-West Tasmania, ie Waratah-Wynyard, and the lives of our youth and the broader community. There were some great ideas about community projects, particularly involving music, community radio, social enterprise, and hospitality. We will now be meeting with people who wanted to come to the meeting but weren’t able to make it, if you have ideas of projects for youth to do, please tell us your idea’s! What are some ways of bringing people together, maybe attracting more visitors to our town, of opportunities for the youth to learn life skills etc?
