Following the success of our first Digital Storytelling workshop, and in response to the feedback via the community survey conducted as part of the Healthy & Thriving Wynyard project, we are running another Digital Storytelling workshop, this time it’s a Intergenerational one.

The feedback particularly from our youth included that there is a large perceived intergenerational gap resulting in myths and miscommunication between the generations. We are meeting that with the intergenerational workshop where we allow space for all stories, including reflection on what it would be like to grow up in a Healthy & Thriving Wynyard.

It is being held in the July School holidays providing a great opportunity for school holiday fun. Why not get the Grandparents to bring along the kids for a community project with a difference? Or if you are a youth with digital skills and would like to share, we will buddy up participants, young and old, to share skills and wisdom.
