End Loneliness Day and Tasmanian Lifeline

What a fantastic event organised by Rotary! Over 30 people attended, including from the Adult Day Centre. There was a great spread of food enjoyed by all. Deb inforned the attendee’s about The Right Place project, which aims to connect people to services, with the philosophy that there is no ‘Wrong Door’, all organisations open to the public when they are trained can link people up to health and community services. Deb also talked about the Tasmanian Lifeline, which is a great initiative, very applicable to ending loneliness. This is the information from their website:
