What’s happening at the Wynyard Community Garden now that Spring has finally sprung?

There’s a lot going on. Planning for the Garden’s Open Day on Friday 25 October is in full swing. The Wynyard Community Gardens Open Day is now part of the “Tulip Festival month of fun” and plenty of fun and bargains will be on offer.

Highlights: Landcare has donated over a hundred native plants for sale at the Open Day. There will be music, mosaics, a huge raffle and a used, round raised bed — diam 800mm, green and in good condition – will go to the highest bidder on the day.

The Wynyard Community Garden will have a marquee at the Tulip Festival on Saturday 12 October in Gutteridge Gardens. And for something completely different – Curtis Poke will be there, selling carabiners made on his 3D printer from plastic bottle tops.
