We are excited to invite you to participate in the Tulip Festival Creative Workshop, a collaborative event where we’ll work together to shape the future of this beloved festival in our community.

This workshop will provide a unique opportunity for you to share your ideas and insights, as we aim to make the Tulip Festival a collaborative, and inclusive festival, connected to our local culture. Using a community-centered approach, we will explore ideas from various perspectives, such as youth, parents, seniors, visitors, and newcomers.

Workshop Details:

  • Date/Time: 6th of February, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Location: Watershed Function Room, 2A Old Bass Hwy, Wynyard

  • We want to hear your voice! This is a great opportunity for everyone to share their unique insights and ideas to shape an event that reflects the diverse needs and interests of our community.

Waratah-Wynyard Council Youth Leaders are engaging with young people in the local community to encourage positive interactions between youth and law enforcement.

The Waratah-Wynyard Council Youth Leaders are hosting a creative competition that aims to capture the theme of International Police Appreciation Day, held on 7th March 2025, by participants either submitting:

1.an A3 sized artwork on paper, canvas or digitally.

2.a short poem

Winner of the competition will have their work presented and displayed at Wynyard Police Station to show appreciation for the hard work they do in our community.
