From Grief to Growth Workshop – Wynyard

New Mornings grief support team will be hosting a community workshop at the Wynyard Yacht Club on Friday July 11^th from 10am – 2.30pm for anyone individual who is struggling with grief.  Ideally this is best suited to those who are 3 months or more post-loss.  The workshop will cover some topics such as:

• Understanding grief and mourning
• How to cope
• Feelings associated with grief
• Growing around our grief
• Honouring memories

Most of the workshop will involve personal reflection but there will be some group interaction.  There is no ‘sharing’ of personal stories as such, and we will be keeping this environment a safe space with support staff attending.
